Wenn er im Irrtum ist, kann ich ihm helfen, sich selbst zu korrigieren, ohne ihn zu verurteilen; wo er an seine Grenzen stößt, kann ich ihm meine Hilfe anbieten. Wo er nicht Bescheid weiß, kann ich ihn aufklären. Ich muß ihm eingestehen, dass ich selbst auch Fehler mache, dass auch ich Schwächen habe, dass ich ohne ihn unvollständig bin. Ich muss eben bescheiden sein. Wer liebt versteht, denn die Liebe ist geduldig, langmütig und gütig, wird nicht zornig, sondern hofft alles, entschuldigt alles, glaubt alles und erträgt alles.
